    Question Battlefield 3 offline multiplayer?

Will there be an offline multiplayer like on call of duty? Me and my friends loved playing bad company 2 but one reason we quit playing it is cause when we all hang out we cant play at the same time. We started playing call of duty more so we could all play at one time.

I would really enjoy that, but I'm not sure on what platform you're playing.
I heard there will be Co-op and I also heard there will be no server files. Sad.

My best bet is that it won't due to the fact that BF2:MC, BFBC, and BFBC2 have yet to implement that feature.

I think he means the "splitscreen mode" on consoles, but maybe it's the lan feature.
I don't see anything of those happening.

Nope, there will be no offline-multiplayer...

    Kind of sucks IMO.

Yeah it does, I liked to play BF2 on those days when my internet went out.

I heard those news today aswell.
Too bad that EA is missing this chance... Activision made it's franchise and now turned it's back on the community that made it grow.
When I heard that Battlefield 3 would have dedicated servers, I thought that this was the game for the future in LAN parties. That's where the community gathers and the franchise grows strong.
EA is missing this chance in not supporting offline operation. Guess that the games being played at LAN parties will still be Activision ones.
